Prizes up to R2,000 can be claimed at any Lotto retailer. Prizes between R2,000 and R50,000 can be claimed at your Post Office.
Who is eligible to play South African Lotto Raffle?
To enter the raffle and to be eligible to receive the prize you must follow some criteria. You must be 18 years or older. You must be a permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa. It is possible to enter the competition if you have a South African work permit with SA bank account.

No, a player can't choose his/her numbers. The lottery system generates a unique ticket number for each sale. This number is generated randomly from possible 500,000 numbers. The sales will continue as long as numbers are still available. The total ticket sales can be over 500,000 because of possible canceled tickets.
What is the Raffle sales limit to one person?
A person can buy maximum R2,000 worth tickets. It is 40 tickets per sale per player. This includes Vat, where whole ticket cost is R50.
What is the main Raffle 2019 prize?
The main prize in 2019 edition Lotto Raffle is Mercedes Benz C200 Cabriolet. There are prepared 10 main prizes for 10 winning tickets. The value of the presented vehicle is R779,000 inclusive of all related costs. The mentioned prize will not be exchanged or paid in cash. The winner must accept the handover date of the prize, which will be determined by Ithuba.
How much time you have to claim Raffle ticket?
All winning tickets should be claimed within 365 days from the date of the draw. However main prizes (vehicles) are due to max. 180 days claiming period (and are encouraged to do so int 30 days instead).
