How to play Rapido?
Rapido is Keno type lottery game, which drawings take place every 5 minutes, every day except Christmas holidays.
- The draw takes place every 5 minutes, seven days a week from 05:00 - 23:45.
- Rapido winning numbers are displayed in selected Rapido retailers on the special monitor.
- No physical draws, Rapido numbers available here or in Lotto outlets.
- In this game, you select 8 numbers out of 21 and an additional 1 number out of 4.
- Eight numbers are selected in section A and one number in section B on special bet slip you will find in retailer shop.
- You can Quick Pick your numbers - ask your retailer to do so.
- You can choose a bet amount. For example, you can play for R5, R10, R15, R20, R25 (Vat included).
- A player can choose the number of consecutive draws he or she will play for with selected numbers - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 consecutive draws.
- Max wager for one bet slip is R250. R25 x 10 draws.
What is important - draws take place every 5 minutes so your betting must be fast. Rapido tickets sales close 30 seconds before the draw!

As you see the maximum fixed prize is R750,00 that can be won every five minutes! To do so you must overcome probability of 1 in 813,960 matching 8 of 8 drawn numbers and additional 1/1. What is interesting - you win even if you do not match any of numbers (0 + 0)! The chance of this situation is 1 in 158 and max payout equals to R150 for R25 bet.

Rapido is a new game presented in 2017. For now, not many retailers can offer this lottery. Draws are conducted every day, every 5 minutes between 5:00 and 23:45. The first draw each day occurs at 05:05. The last draw at the end of the day at 23:45.
Rapido has not physical draw as other games (Lotto or Powerball). Rapido numbers are selected randomly by RNG computer. The draws are presented in selected national lottery stores on the monitor screen.
This game is similar to the world's keno games. However, rules are changed. There are 21 instead of 70 or 80 numbers and additional bonus ball. Numbers are chosen by computer like in the lotteries around the world, so there is no special change.
